Cost of Dental Treatment

At Carlingford Dental Surgery, we understand that the cost of dental treatment can vary immensely between patients and also between different dental surgeries. We also recognize that not all dental treatment options can be within the reach of every patient. Because of this, we will always endeavour to provide you suitable treatment plan(s) in consideration of your financial ability as well as assist you in understanding the long-term dental and financial benefits that can be achieved by making the right initial investment in your health through selecting the appropriate treatment option(s).

The differences in the cost of dental treatment relate predominately to the materials used, the severity of your dental problem, the length of time and the quality of care required to complete each treatment. As people continue to live longer and keep their teeth for many more years than ever before, the complexity of managing these advanced dental conditions require greater specialized training, time and attention to detail. All our staffs are therefore always updating their professional skills through additional continuing education and training.

The patients who have been coming to Carlingford Dental Surgery for many years understand the true value of our:

  • Attention to detail and personal service.
  • In-depth explanations and understanding of their circumstances.
  • Quality of work, which is also surprisingly competitive. More accurate fees and payment options can be discussed at your initial consultation appointment. We look forward to seeing you soon!

Payment Options

For your convenience, we accept payment by cash, cheque, direct deposit, EFTPOS, and all the major credit cards including Visa, MasterCard and American Express.

If you are with a major participating health fund, we have HICAPS facilities to also allow you to claim your health fund benefits on the spot. That is, you do not need to queue at your health fund branch or fill in claim forms!

Patients on the Medicare Child Dental Benefits Schedule (CDBS), or patients holding an approved Department of Veterans’ Affairs card are usually bulk-billed directly to Medicare.
